As I was doing my research paper finding the factors that created today Times Square, I had found many interesting characters that contributed to the creation of Times Square. Along with places and businesses such as, theater and the Times building. They all contributed to created Times Square or Long Ascra which was its name in the late 1880's and made it a splendid and famous place in New York. But one specific character that interested me was the Father Duffy. Because of the contribution he has done for the country, being in the Spanish war, father of a church and the founder of a church in the Bronx. I believe this individual has been an important character in Times Square and the country. Which today we have honors that have been dedicated and establish for him in Times Square, such as, Duffy’s Chaos and the Father Duffy’s status. Which are located on 42^nd street where thousands of people daily step in to take pictures.
