 "MS-13, one of the more violent U.S. gangs, was formed in Los Angeles in the 1980s and has since spread throughout the United States and North and Central America." (Ware). Reading this article opened my eyes because growing up, I was unaware of how many members were being recruited throughout the states. In my opinion, MS-13 seems to be the more prominent gang out of the top gangs due to their culture and the way they represent themselves in the street. For example, their tattoos, hand shakes, and language. I also feel as though they are easier to be targeted due to the president's recent request on deporting ALL "illegal" or "unauthorized" gang members. MS-13 is in fact the gang everyone wants to target.
