Deal or No Deal

Donald Trump has denied all deals between congressional Democrats and himself to reach a possible agreement on the DACA decision he wishes to imposed. DACA (or the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) was established by the Barack Obama's administration allowing immigrants who entered as minors to receive working papers and a renewable two- year period "safeguard". However, on September 5, 2017 Trump has decided to speak out on this immigration policy saying he would like to put an end to it and wishes for congress to take action. In President Trump's wishes coming to fruition we could expect hundreds of thousands of students to be taken out of this safeguard and be endangered of a possible deportation. This is precisely why congressional Democrats met with the President and were said to reach an agreement. The agreement being " to shield about 800,000 young immigrants from deportation — without the president's proposed border wall as a condition" (CNBC).  Trump later responding "No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote." (CNBC).

In my honest opinion I believe DACA even down to an economic stand point can benefit our society. For example, I know from reading various articles beforehand that those who benefit from DACA will contribute 460.3 billion to the US gross domestic products. Leaving these door opens can permit there to be more brought to the table from every stand point. The youth that some how ended here and is being deprived of their possibilities in this country may be the next ones to cause a change in our societies and nation as a whole.
