Missing and Subpoena
City Controller Scott Stringer conducted an audit of the Board Of Education technical devices. He discovered 1817 laptops, tablets and computers missing from eight schools. Some of the devices was missing from the schools inventory or locked in closets not being used. Mr. Stringer is threatening to subpoena the Department of Education if he does not receive an explanation.
