The agenda of the Trump administration seems to be keen on undoing a lot of what the last administration accomplished and the newest law under review is Obama's guidelines for on campus sexual assault. On Thursday, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos explained that the Title IX guidance law will be changed due to assaulters lacking due process. DeVos believes that the law is unfair and has failed many, referring to assaulters as "victims" with minimal evidence against them. The law is in the process of being rescinded, however, DeVos was not clear on how her department would change/replace the current policy. She has already received backlash from other political figures such as former US Vice President Joe Biden and groups in support of Title IX such as "End Rape on Campus."
